Summer Reading List
We’ve read some excellent books and have polled the team to gather recommendations to share with you as you start to consider your summer reading list.
Wherever You Go, There You Are: Mindfulness Meditation in Everyday Life by Jon Kabat-Zinn
This is a daily reference to help keep things in perspective (especially in the last year or so!) This book has stood the test of time in helping millions of people with stress reduction, mindfulness, and keeping your day-to-day in perspective. A must-have for every household!
Outside, You Notice by Erin Alladin
A perfect book for kids who are interested in the natural world around them (or who think chickens are born at the grocery store?) Parks, backyards, or forests… The world around us is full of wonder!
The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah
A Kim Furniss pick – she couldn’t put it down! Set in 1974, this page-turner is about a family seeking a new start in Alaska.
The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy
This one is a great gift for new parents (or seasoned parents looking for a fresh perspective). We loved the illustrations and the life lessons woven into this delightful read.
Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
If you missed this charming read on one of the many celeb book lists, we’re putting this back out there! A perfect summer book for a weekend of relaxing and losing yourself in a good story.
The Men They Will Become: The Nature and Nurture of Male Character by Eli H. Newberger, M.D.
Written by a pediatrician, this book offers decades of insight (and experience!) into what shapes male characteristics into personality. This book holds its standing 20+ years later, and we think it’s a must-read for those with sons and grandsons in their lives.

We Remain Open… Virtually
We’re keeping the home fires burning at the office and will look forward to having you in as soon as we’re able. In the meantime, know that we’re here for phone and/or video meetings until we can see you face to face.
