There are always opportunities to get involved, regardless of your background, interests, or areas of expertise.

  • Affordable Housing Task Force – Collingwood: The Town of Collingwood is accepting volunteers on their Affordable Housing Task Force to help address the needs in our communities. You can apply on their website.
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey Bruce: After a hiatus in our community for a few years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey Bruce has extended its services back to western Simcoe County. Learn more about their offerings here.
  • Georgian Good Food Box: This invaluable organization has been providing affordable, nutritious monthly food boxes for purchase for 30 years and is seeking volunteers to help pack and deliver monthly orders, AND they are also seeking a board member. Get more details here.
  • Hospice Georgian Triangle: Since 1987, the Hospice Georgian Triangle and the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation rely on more than 100 volunteers. They provide orientation and training for a variety of positions, so you don’t have to have a medical background or previous experience. Learn more on their website.
