Sean’s love for music began when he developed a love for Newfoundland and Labrador Folk songs. After selling millions of albums as a member of Great Big Sea, he realized that he needed to stop his involvement with the band after 20 years of playing together. At this point, he felt like he was hiding behind his music and recognized that this was not fair to his fans. So now we get to enjoy him as a solo artist.
