The holiday season is one of our favourites, and we’re excited to spend some time with our friends and family celebrating, relaxing, and enjoying everything this time of year has to bring. As we approach the holidays this year and start planning for 2024, we have some updates and information we want to share with you.
Our Holiday Hours
Our office will be closed for the holidays from December 22, 2023 to January 1, 2024 and reopening at 8:30 am on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
Please contact your advisor directly if you require investment advice during this time. All of our advisors will be monitoring their voicemails on the days that the markets are open, but our office is closed. All other inquiries will be answered upon return in the New Year.
Save the Date
We’re excited to announce that we’re in the midst of planning an amazing business focused event for early 2024! Our valued clients will receive invitations first, so RSVP quickly when you receive the invitation to save your seat. We encourage you to bring a friend or business associate because the speaker we have engaged is not someone you want to miss.
We are currently working on solidifying a date for Venki Raman, an incredible speaker. After a fabulous 25-year career with the Canadian-Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), Venki now runs a coaching company, PERC – Purposeful Energy and Resilience Coaching.
His mission is to kindle the human spirit and energy through the application of science and positive psychology. He currently coaches teams, leaders, advisors, athletes, entrepreneurs, and individuals to leverage energetic performance in their personal and professional lives.
Our Team Goals for 2024
We asked our staff to share some of their goals for the New Year. The holidays are a great time to ponder the year ahead and find inspiration in renewal.
- Sandy Coates — Nova Scotia has a lot to offer. I plan to revisit most areas in 2024 and enjoy the journey and the unique beauty that my home province has to offer!
- Steve Brent — My wife and I are planning to attend our longtime friends’ daughter’s destination wedding and overcome my wife’s fear of flying at the same time!! Priceless.
- Corvina Novotnv — My goal in 2024 is to run a 10K race in under an hour!
- Shari Leroux — I endeavour to read a book a week in 2024!
- Kim — In 2024, I’m going to work on being more mindful and spending as much time as possible with family and friends.
